A hectic 2D shooter in black and white

Nongunz is a frantic and nutty shooting game that is both fast-paced and exciting at the same time. You spend most of your time in a graveyard or some sort of dungeon. The game is mostly in black and white, but there is a little orange in there too. You play as a small sprite who runs around on different 2D platforms with a gun. The point of the game is to survive the onslaught of different enemies that charge at you.

Jump and shoot your way to victory

Nongunz has you jumping from one platform to the next while hordes of different and odd-looking enemies run at you. There are plenty of gameplay modifiers you may add to the game to change it up a little and alter the way the game plays on your next run. The Nongunz game rewards players if they pull of combinations and try to make them run as long as possible. You have to shoot at a variety of different enemies from weird looking monsters to graphical representations of a hand.

Improve your killing skills as you go

One of the few things that keeps this game interesting and stops it becoming just another pointless shooter is the ability to upgrade your skills. It feels more like a shooting RPG as you upgrade your killing skills thanks to things such as slot machines, shops and dungeon shortcuts. It is not a bad little time killer, but some people may not like the retro graphics or playing in black and white.
